Biography
Dr. Mesha Martinez is a board-certified pediatric radiologist, neuroradiologist, and neurointerventionalist and a globally recognized expert in pediatric neurointerventional radiology. She is the founder and medical director of Clarity: Brain and Spine, an independent practice dedicated to cutting-edge outpatient neurointervention, offering specialized care for both pediatric and adult patients with cerebrovascular, CSF, and spinal disorders.Previously, Dr. Martinez served as Associate Professor of Radiology at Baylor College of Medicine and was a neurointerventionalist at Texas Children’s Hospital, where she helped establish and expand pediatric neurointerventional services. She is a Clinical Instructor of the University of Washington School of Medicine and Seattle Children’s Hospital, contributing to education and advancing care in pediatric neuroradiology.Dr. Martinez earned her MD from the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, followed by extensive residency and fellowship training at top-tier institutions, including The Johns Hopkins Hospital, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Her clinical expertise spans adult and pediatric NIR, with expertise in pediatric stroke, head and neck vascular malformations, intra-arterial chemotherapy for retinoblastoma, intracranial and extracranial AV shunts, spinal vascular and nonvascular disorders, and CSF pressure disorders. She has published widely in these areas and is a frequent invited speaker at national and international scientific meetings.A passionate educator, innovator, and advocate for health equity, Dr. Martinez is also a consultant and key opinion leader for several leading medical device companies. She has received numerous honors, including multiple LINNC travel awards, “Austin Top Doctor 2025,” and patient-nominated recognitions for compassionate care.Through Clarity: Brain and Spine, Dr. Martinez is pioneering a new model for outpatient neurointerventional care, focused on accessibility, excellence, and whole-patient healing.
