Biography

Dr. Christie M. Malayil Lincoln joined Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) in Houston, Texas as a full-time neuroradiology faculty in the department of Radiology in September 2012. Her responsibilities include training diagnostic radiology residents and neuroradiology fellows, providing appropriateness of spine imaging to rotating BCM medical students, and facilitating a foundational science medical student course to 1st year students referred to as Translational Research and Population Health. She has been an item writer for the neuroradiology committee of the Online Longitudinal Assessment for the American Board of Radiology since 2017. Dr. Lincoln also has an interest in appropriateness of spine imaging and led a project on appropriateness of MRI imaging in low back pain under Radiology Support, Communication and Alignment Network (R-SCAN) with the family medicine outpatient clinics at the affiliate county hospital, Harris Health System. The data and outcomes of the study has been published and highlighted in several journal articles. While supporting the missions at BCM, Christie is also the Chair-Elect for the Faculty Senate and will be the Chair in 2021. Dr. Lincoln completed a two-year diagnostic and interventional neuroradiology fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx and was chief fellow in her second year. She also completed a diagnostic residency at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center, an Albert Einstein College of Medicine affiliate, where she was chief resident.
