Associate Professor, Director Acute Pain Anesthesia

Biography

Alice is originally from Southern California and completed her bachelor’s degree in biophysics at UCLA. She then moved to Boston for her medial training at Boston University. She went on to complete her anesthesia residency and pain medicine fellowship Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School, where she also served as chief anesthesia resident. She returned to Los Angeles and has been at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center since 2017. She has served on multiple committees and hospital initiatives during her time here at Cedars. Some highlights include her role on the CSMC Cancer Committee and as co-leader of the Opioid and Polypharmacy Stewardship. She currently serves as our director of Acute Pain Anesthesia and the Associate Program Director of our Pain Medicine Fellowship. She has numerous publications, teaching awards, and is the PI on several research studies at CSMC. She currently holds a Department of Defense Grant in collaboration with UCSD evaluating Peripheral Nerve Stimulation for post operative pain. This work was recently published in Anesthesiology. and selected by the journal’s editors as one of the top 10 most important research articles published in 2021.
