Biography
Dr. Jose Gavito is a board-certified diagnostic radiologist with subspecialty expertise in Neuroradiology.He serves as Associate Professor in the Department of Diagnostic and Interventional Imaging at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. In addition to his academic role, Dr. Gavito is the Assistant Program Director of the Neuroradiology Fellowship, where he is actively involved in the education and mentorship of future neuroradiologists.Dr. Gavito’s clinical interests include advanced imaging of the brain, spine, and head and neck, with a focus on integrating cutting-edge imaging techniques into clinical practice. He is committed to academic medicine, combining patient care with teaching and ongoing research initiatives.
