Biography
Accomplished, results-driven full-time clinician with extensive physician health care administrative experience, served on the DC Board of Medicine, past president of the Medical Society of the District of Columbia, multiple mayoral appointments and commissions, a medical practice business owner, hospital and Managed Medicaid health plan chief medical officer of MedfStar Family Choice-DC Managed Medicaid Health Plan, and medical school faculty member. Recent election to the American Medical Association Council of Science and Public Health underscores commitment to medical education, public health, and health care administration. Past roles as advisor to the AMA CPT Editorial Panel, AMA Relativity Update Committee (the “RUC”), and member of our region’s Medicare Carrier Advisory Committee. I am full-time at Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center, GW Health as Chief of Radiology, a practicing physician and patient advocate.
