Biography
Allison Grayev, MD is a Professor of Radiology in the Neuroradiology section at the University of Wisconsin. Her clinical interests are in spine imaging techniques and report construction and clarity. Dr. Grayev is the Radiology Director of both the Multidisciplinary Spine Conference and the Spine Tumor Board and serves as the Radiology Liaison to the Trauma Performance Improvement and Patient Safety Program. She has published on the use of advanced imaging techniques in spine and plexus imaging and is responsible for the creation and maintenance of imaging protocols. Her research interests in spine imaging include advanced imaging techniques to improve diagnostic accuracy as well as the development of accelerated protocols to increase patient throughput in emergency settings. Dr. Grayev is an advocate for structured reporting to increase communication with referring clinician and is currently working on projects to leverage the use of large language models to improve feedback to trainees.
